Chardonnay Lincoln East Coast 2004 This is a fruit driven style highlighting the clean sumptuous flavour from this variety. Grape harvest occurred at peak maturity when the fruit was showing typical characters of stone fruit and grapefruit. A cool fermentation and 6 months lees stirring have enabled to capturre both fruit characters and lees complexity creating a wine of subtle elegance. Grapefruit, peaches and cream combine to create a wine of instant appeal with a gentle acidity making it ideally suited to a huge variety of dishes.
