The name Ceppi Storici has a dual meaning referring both to the historic nature of Barbera, the indigenous grape red grape variety of Piedmont's Asti zone, also the age of the old vines used in making this cuvee which has been produced for more tah half a century.  
Cherry and plum aromas overlaid by warm smoky wood scents make it a welcoming red that perfectly accompanies pizza, pasta and lamb.
