Cabaletta is made using a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown near the town of San Pietro in Cariano in the province of Verona. The oak ageing adds a pleasant roasted and spicy aroma reminiscent of prunes and cherries.  This wine is full-bodied and supple, with  long and lingering finish.  Perfect with roasted meats and mature cheeses.
