In 1973, the Baron Edmond de Rothschild, purchased Chateau Clarke, a 55 ha estate in Listac-Medoc.  With a strong passion for excellence, the Baron made Clarke a leading growth of its region.
Beautiful crimson colour with a deep purple rim. Extremely complex nose presents subtly roasted notes with sappy cedar aromas mingled with notes of blackcurrant and cherry.  On the palate, the bold, precise attack quickly unveils delicate, velvety tannins.  The whole is dense and rich, enhanced by magnificent freshness through the long, delightful and slightly sweet finish. excellent ageing potential (about 15 years, drinking from 2020 to 2031)
