In 1973, the Baron Edmond de Rothschild, purchased Chateau Clarke, a 55 ha estate in Listac-Medoc.  With a strong passion for excellence, the Baron made Clarke a leading growth of its region.  It is recommended to store this wine at a constant temperature of 12 - 14 C, to open the bottle few hours before serving and possibly to decant it.  Ideal serving temperature 16C.  Goes remarkably well with meats such as lamb, poultry and games as well as most cheeses.
