This Nero d'Avola is a natural wine. Whilst there is no official definition of a natural wine, it is essentially made with minimal intervention, without chemical pesticides, unfiltered and organic, resulting in a wine which is cloudy and with more yeasty aromas than other wines. Classic Nero d'Avola flavours of dark almost roasted fruits - think black cherries and red and dark plums. There is some liquorice and then the finish hints at coffee and bitter chocolate.

Aiosa in colloquial Italian means "plentiful" and this wine has much to offer in flavour and complexity! This limited production red wine hails from Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes grown in Puglia, Southern Italy. The reduced yields and late harvest results in grapes that are concentrated in aromas and flavours. Enjoy!

Pinot Grigio is full bodied and soft, with a good structure and minerality. Bright straw yellow, with an intense bouquet: floral notes of wild rose and orange blossom, and fruity hints of citrus and apricot. In the mouth is voluminous, full and citric. A very pleasant wine, perfect accompaniment to fish or vegetable dishes. Our recommendation is to pair Pinot Grigio with a prawn risotto. This wine comes from a recently planted vineyard, Nuovo Quadro, on our La Battistina estate in the Gavi region. Produced from the local Cortese grape, this is a fresh, delicately aromatic style of dry white with pear and citrus fruit characters balanced by crisp acidity and gently nutty flavours on the finish. Served chilled as an aperitif or with seafood and fish dishes.

Produced from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes harvested from the hillside north of Verona. "Appassimento" refers to the process by which the grapes are dried for a few months before being pressed and vinified, in this case 30 days before vinification. Bright berry and black cherry aromas and a touch of spice. The palate has all of Valpolicella's appealing fresh cherry and ripe bramble fruit, with the weight and complexity of Appassimento wines. Passitivo is produced using only the best Organic Primitivo grapes grown in low-yielding vineyards in Puglia, Southern Italy. Fresh, lively and dry, Zero Assoluto is a wine for enthusiasts and connoisseurs; a “Brut nature” with zero residual sugar. On the nose this wine has pleasant and very delicate citrus notes, displaying intense grapefruit and white flowers notes and a slightly persistent yeast note.
