In the heart of Saint Emilion appellation, this rich and dense wine shines thanks to a ripe merlot, a product of the warm vintage. Flavours of liquorice and black fruit flavours and plenty of spices from wood-ageing, all contribute to the generally ripe effect of this generous wine. It goes marvellously well with meat, vegetarian dishes and cheese.

Produced by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), Reserve Speciale Pauillac expresses the power and elegance of this noble appellation. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is aged for several months in oak barrels to give a complex, well-structured wine that lingers on the palate with woody spicy notes.

Nice nose of crushed berries. Black cherry, liquorice, elegant on the palate and well balanced. Round wine, good structure with elegant tannins on a finish with slightly oaky notes. The minerality that is specific to Tour St Christophe is well represented here. The property consists of 20 hectares on the appellation of Saint Emilion Grand Cru, ovelooking beautiful centuries-old dry stone terrasses on a clay-limestone terroir. Les Terrasses de Saint Christophe is the second label of Chareau Tour Saint Christophe.

A typical, elegant Bordeaux. It has an excellent nose of crushed black berries and raspberries, intense deep colour and some mineral notes. Full bodied with super fine tannins and a savoury finish. A classic Pauillac from an exciting vintage. Perfect wit lamb, red meat, game and cheese. Drink 2020-2038.
