Pale straw colour with some green hints. Crisp and fruity white wine with pear and apple aromas. On the palate this surprising wine has an interesting creamy texture, is well-balanced and is above all else refreshing and dry.

Pinot Grigio is full bodied and soft, with a good structure and minerality. Bright straw yellow, with an intense bouquet: floral notes of wild rose and orange blossom, and fruity hints of citrus and apricot. In the mouth is voluminous, full and citric. This wine comes from a recently planted vineyard, Nuovo Quadro, on our La Battistina estate in the Gavi region. Produced from the local Cortese grape, this is a fresh, delicately aromatic style of dry white with pear and citrus fruit characters balanced by crisp acidity and gently nutty flavours on the finish. Toca means touch in spanish and they chose the name because everything about this Cava bears the mark of the hands and natural elements that made it. Even the steep contour lines of the Serra de Tallat mountain range, which shelters the vines, look like fingerprints. Bright, pale golden yellow with a steady stream of fine bubbles. The clean, zippy fruit from the Sauvignon Blanc is complemented by the more luscious, exotic fruit flavours of the Rolle (otherwise known as Vermentino). Cold Fact is the album from singer-songwriter Sixto Rodriguez, who became a cultural phenomenon in South Africa and was made internationally famous in the film "Searching for Sugar Man" It is also a play on the cold soak technique we use to extract flavour from the skins of our ripest Sauvignon Blanc grapes (we search for sugar man) which are then chilled and left for hours or even overnight on the skins, with the process helping to extract the intense flavours associated with this highly aromatic grape variety. This unoaked wine exudes aromatics of blackcurrant leaf & ripe Cape fig balanced by a complex fruit structure and sweet Provencal herbs on the finish.
