Fresh, lively and dry, Zero Assoluto is a wine for enthusiasts and connoisseurs; a “Brut nature” with zero residual sugar. On the nose this wine has pleasant and very delicate citrus notes, displaying intense grapefruit and white flowers notes and a slightly persistent yeast note. In 1988, a Rioja winemaker found a bunch of white grapes amongst the Tempranillo vines in his Murillo de Rio Leza estate in Rioja Baja. After several years of investigation, it was accepted that this was a natural mutation of the usually red tempranillo.
