This Vegan Roussanne wine is an example of innovation in viticulture. The renowned Yalumba Vine nursery sourced, propagated and grew these rare exotic Roussanne vines before planting them high in the hills of the Eden Valley. Reminiscent of walking through wild flowers, camomile, lavender and rose. Flavours include white peach and vanilla, custard layered over grapefruit. Three different vineyards contribute to the electric array of aromatics and flavours. Wild ferment. Vegan.

Each vintage of the Signature is named in honour of an individual who has made a significant contribution to the culture and traditions of Yalumba. This one is dedicated to Louisa Rose, Yalumba Chief Wine maker at Yalumba since 1991. Since 1962, the finest red wine of the vintage has been hand selected and matured in our cellars in Angaston as "The Signature". This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz from premium Barossa vineyards and befits the quality Yalumba tradition forged over 47 vintage releases. 21 months maturation in French, Hungarian and American oak barrels crafted at the Yalumba cooperage has contributed to a wine with structure, elegance and longevity.

Opaque and ruby red in colour, Woolloomooloo Shiraz displays a nose of smoky ripe berry fruits with a touch of mint. Smooth and rich on the palate with spicy flavours of luscious dark berry fruits, the balanced tannins help to deliver a tremendously concentrated finish. Serve at room temperature, partnered with earthy spicy foods.
