Our parents planted their first vineyard in the Nelson region in 1973, pioneering modern grape growing and winemaking in the South Island. Fruit from vineyards in the stony soils of Wairau Valley and the dense clay of the Southern Valleys work together to create a wine that marries ripe stone fruit and citrusy elegance. Lake Matheson in New Zealand has evolved over time to combine a selection of nature's best ingredients. It's clear mirror-like waters perfectly reflect the imposing icy peaks of mount Tasman. This fresh, crisp sauvignon Blanc combines gooseberry and passion fruit notes and is the perfect wine to serve as aperitif or with king prawn linguine.

At Esk Valley we craft our unique wines using traditional methods and local knowledge to bring out the best of every vintage. This Chardonnay is blended from a selection of grapes grown in the stony alluvial soils of Hawkes Bay and fermented in both tank and french oak barriques. It is a classic Hawkes Bay style exhibiting stonefruit, grapefruit and a subtle oak influence and was bottled without finings. Suitable for Vegan and Vegetarian diets. ONLY 7 BOTTLES LEFT

This Marlborough Pinot Noir reveals lifted red fruit on the nose, a suggestion of chocolate on the palate and cool climate elegance throughout. Ta Moko is the bold, black, body art of the indeginous Maori people of New Zealand. Worn on the face, it is a living symbol of identity and origin, Moko Black is a tribute to this noble culture.

The Taylors Pass Vineyard is located on the north bank of the Awatere River in Marlborough. With silty loam overlaying stony gravel, the vineyard consistently produces concentrated Pinot Noir fruit. This wine is perfumed with aromas of black cherry and plum and has a layered and textured palate.

Single Vineyard wines are created from vineyards of exceptional quality when vintage conditions allow them to fully express their individuality. This picturesque vineyards is located on the north bank of Marlborough's Awatere river. With soil ranging from silty loam to stony gravels, the vineyard consistently produces elegant and complex Chardonnay. Subtle citrus aromas and textural mealy characters dominate this refined wine.

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc has a zesty and vibrant nose, with notes of juicy citrus and makrut lime underpinned by subtle white nectarine and passionfruit notes. The palate is mouthwatering, with ripe vibrant passionfruit and citrus at the fore. These meld with tropical hints of peach and guava, gently balanced by stony saline notes. Sauvignon Blanc is a natural match for almost any seafood. Some of our favourites at the winery include tempura oysters, locally-caught sashimi, and steamed mussels with garlic, citrus and parsley. It’s also a great match for green salads and goats’ cheese. A hint from us: if it goes with lemon, it goes with Sauvignon Blanc.

This benchmark sparkling wine is named after "Pelorus Jack", the famous dolphin of Marlborough, who playfully rode the bow waves and guided ships through the treacherous waters of Cooks Strait from 1888 to 1912. Produced using the traditional method, Cloudy Bay Pelorus exhibits a fresh palate of apples and citrus. The bright tones are balanced with rich layers of honey, brioche and creamy complexity. Designed as an aperitif, Pelorus also complements a range of cuisines.

This full-bodied and richly flavoured Pinot Gris showcases flavours of baked apples, apricot, honey and spice. A small portion of barrel ferment has added richness and complexity to this delicious and highly drinkable wine.
