This Port is made from wines of a single harvest and as its designation implies, it is only bottled following 4 to 6 years maturation in oak casks. This wood ageing softens the assertive and robust fruit of the wine, resulting in a delicious Port that is simultaneously rich and smooth. Smith Woodhouse Ports are produced in very small quantities by the Symington family, winemakers in the Douro Valley for over 100 years.
