At Esk Valley we craft our unique wines using traditional methods and local knowledge to bring out the best of every vintage. This Chardonnay is blended from a selection of grapes grown in the stony alluvial soils of Hawkes Bay and fermented in both tank and french oak barriques. It is a classic Hawkes Bay style exhibiting stonefruit, grapefruit and a subtle oak influence and was bottled without finings. Suitable for Vegan and Vegetarian diets. ONLY 7 BOTTLES LEFT

From the Venta La Vega vineyards, an ecological territory of limestone soils located 850m above sea level, this wine is born as result of the natural complicity between Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc. In 1988, a Rioja winemaker found a bunch of white grapes amongst the Tempranillo vines in his Murillo de Rio Leza estate in Rioja Baja. After several years of investigation, it was accepted that this was a natural mutation of the usually red tempranillo. (Limited Edition) This wine has a special and unique character, displaying intense tropical fruit aromas of banana, apple and citrus punctuated with white floral notes. It has a round mouthfeel with notes of orange and stonefruit characteristics as well as a lovely volume and freshness on the palate.

The grapes for this special cuvee were harvested during the night of September 8th ensuring that they remained cool for a 12 hours maceration on the skins. Fresh, lively and dry, Zero Assoluto is a wine for enthusiasts and connoisseurs; a “Brut nature” with zero residual sugar. On the nose this wine has pleasant and very delicate citrus notes, displaying intense grapefruit and white flowers notes and a slightly persistent yeast note. The same delicate freshness you immediately notice also on the palate, the acidity is pleasant and as a result the wine is balanced, velvety and creamy. Organic.
